Dear Colleagues,

It is an honor for us to invite you to the X Congress of the Latin American Society for Sexual Medicine, SLAMS, that will take place on August 27-30, 2009, in the Costao do Santinho hotel, in Florianopolis, Brazil.

We are working hard to prepare an outstanding scientific program which will take into account the interests of those dedicated to the study of Sexual Medicine.

Well known professionals have confirmed their participation. Other scientific societies will also take part in the program: WAS, FLASSES, CEPCoS, SBRASH, ABEIS and the Spanish Society of Andrology.

The submission of abstracts closed on June 22 and more than 90 abstracts were submitted. The abstracts were reviewed by an International Jury.

Florianopolis, the quiet capital of Santa Catarina, is a modern metropolis which stands out for its beautiful beaches and for being the Brazilian city with best human development index, according to a UN report.

Costao do Santinho, the congress venue, is a beautiful hotel with a comfortable recreation area that will allow the congress attendees and their families to combine science and recreation.
